Life goes on

Wow. Its been a long while since I've been here. I haven't updated in like a million years.

Whats new. . .hmmmm. . .

I've started University. Thats interesting. Somehow it doesn't feel all that different from highschool. Sure the classes are bigger, the course material more difficult, but. . .its still school.

Other then that. . .not much.

I spent my summer a a french University. That was different, but a great experience. Hopefully I'll be gettin free credits from that also. Which will be really nice because then I'll get my minor doen quicker.

Well. . .I guess thats it.

We're going Broadway!

The time has come to perform Suessical. After a day of tech and a dress rehearsal, the curtain will "go out" to reveal. . .*drum role*. . .a boy in a rugby shirt. "Now that is a very unusual hat. I wonder, what could be under a hat such as that? It could be a creature from. . ."

Rehearsals

So I have three rehearsals in a row for Seussical, where I'm doing nothing. Its a bit boring. The show should look great when its done though. I hope it sounds just as good. We're a little behind on the vocal side of things.

You now. Its hard to believe that school is almost over. I soon will graduate. Wow. . .actually its still kinda hasn't really hit me yet. I wonder if it will.

Organized, yep thats me.

You know, I've realized that even though I might not seem like the most orgainzed person, I really am. Even my weeks are organized. I know exactly what I'm going to be doing everyday and it rarely changes, but when it does I am flexible and I can deal with it. So its now 2:40 on a Saturday and I should be doing . . . .

Been a long time

I haven't posted on this thing in a while. I guess I spend to much of my time on Youth on the Rock. (youthontherock.com, pretty cool site) Anyways, I'll try to post more. Since the last time I posted I have been accepted to the university of my choice in the fall and I'm going to french immersion school in the summer. Fun fun fun.

A New Semester

Ah, new paper, new scribblers, new pencils, new teachers, new textbooks, etc. New semesters are so much fun. Of course they get old really fast.

Exams are driving me CRAZY

In the six years that I have had some sort of exam, I don't think that I have ever studied so hard. I've been going for 7 hours straight at a time without looking up from my books. I don't think this is healthy. Hopefully its paying off though. My first two exams, Math and English, went really well and I'm actually excited to see my results. I have two more tomorrow, French and Poly Sci. I'm less confident about those. Oh well. No one can stay I haven't studied.

Getting tired of snow.

As much a I love snow days, I've decided that we have had too many. The three storms that we've had so far combined have given my tiny Island over 100 centimeters in snow. I had to shoval the other day! Usualy my bothers and my dad just do it themselves, but it was too much for them.

A Good Book

Good books today are very hard to find. Most books written today seem to be all the same in content. It gets very annoying when you can predict the ending of novels like you can a movie. *Sigh* What is happening to the world of literature?

Snow Storm Tomorrow

There's supposed to be a huge blizzard tomorrow! Which means no school! I'm so excited! *deep breath* I don't like shooting games. What is the point?

School Again

Why? Why? WHY? Why must I go back to school tomorrow? Why? I'm praying for a BIG freak snow storm. I'm not ready to go back. I don't want to write exams. At least Suessical starts in Feb. That will be fun rehearsing for. It will make second semester go by quicker! I still don't want to go back though.

Merry Christmas

Its Christmas Eve everyone. Tomorrow I get to laze around in my pyjamas and open gifts. It will be fun. I musn't forget though the real reason for the celebration. My family and I will be celebrating Jesus' birth. The baby that grew up to be the Savior of the world. The story of his wonderful birth is in the gospel of Luke in the bible. Its a wonderful story for those who would like to read it.

Wondering

You know what? Over a 100 people have "visited" my blog according to my counter. I wonder how many people actually take the time to read it. I'd love to know. The same thing on fiction press. Only a few people will review my stories, but I wonder how many people have read them.

Huge Bags Under The Eyes

So today I'm suffering from lack of sleep. I've been dreaming the past few nights, and when I dream, I don't rest. There are huge bags under my eyes and I'm ready to fall asleep at any moment. During the school band concert today, I shall be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of 15 year olds playing the shrilling flute. It will be lovely.

No School Today!!!

So its "storming" outside today. Its wonderful. Of course I have to work on school projects, but its so nice to ge a day off. Who doesn't like cancelations?
